This is one of my first improv quilts. I cut the fabrics into strips and played around on the design wall until I found a design I liked. I was in a hurry so the machine quilting (with walking foot) was simple.
It was made in 2014 but I haven't had time to photograph it until now. It has held up well to washing I think!

ReplyDeleteI love the soft hand that your SLQ with a walking foot gave it. It reminds me of vintage quilts where they used flannel for batting, and quilted lightly. It gave it beautiful texture.
