Gallery of Procrastination - My UFOs

Originally I wanted to call this my hall of shame but decided that was too harsh.  Hopefully this list will be shorter at the end of the year than it is now.  Note that I'm not numbering anything so it's hard to keep track of how many UFOs there are.  Sneaky, huh?  :)

Technically my 2016 sampler is a WIP but I'm including it to keep myself honest and motivated.

The test blocks from the 2016 sampler are begging to be some sort of tote bag.

Blue Moonshine
Lap quilt started in 2015.

Red Moonshine

I made a lot of squares from this very large fat quarter bundle!

Yellow Moonshine
I'm not kidding when I say there are a lot of squares!  Enough for at least 3 quilts.

Square in a Square #2
King sized quilt (gulp!) started at BAMQG retreat in 2015.

Christmas Bunting

Bunting started in 2015.

Christmas Runner
I made a little table runner from the bunting scraps.

Christmas Placemat

And a placemat.

Halloween Bunting
Bunting started in 2015.

Halloween Runner
Another runner made from bunting scraps.

Tyler Rose
In 2013 (I think) I took a very good BOM class at The Granary using the Tyler Rose pattern.  I ran out of steam before completing all the blocks.  I think I'll simplify the pattern a bit to make it feel more modern and to make it easier to finish.

Too Much Star Wars
I bought way too much of this Star Wars fabric.  Especially since I had to add black sashing to downplay the busyness of the patterns.  Two twin quilts are for my nephews and a baby quilt will likely end up for sale.  On the plus side, these bad boys glow in the dark!

I had scraps left over from a few preschool sewing projects.  I used them in a Sherri Lynn Wood style improv design.

This bear paw quilt is over 10 years old!  I started the top way back when, sewed the back 2 year ago and quilted it last year.  This year I hope to bind & finish it!

I took a stitch & flip class with Jaquie Gering in 2013 (ish).  This tree used some really pretty simmer fabrics.

This improv sampler was made at the BAMQG retreat last year.  The top is done.  The back needs to be sewn and everything quilted and bound.

This little baby quilt is done except for the binding.  All that is left is to hand sew the binding down.

This is another baby quilt where the only step left is to sew down the binding.

This quilt is going to be a present for someone who loves horses.  Many of the prints have horsey or unicorn motifs.  I bought a quick curve ruler and a pattern which I may or may not use.  We'll see....

I'm really excited to start this improv quilt (I've been dreaming about the design).  But I promised myself that I would finish a few of the further along UFOs before I started.

I bought this kit a while back and haven't even started yet.  I thought it would make a nice quilty gift. Maybe for Christmas 2016 :)

This improv uses Aboriginal style fabrics.  I love the designs and can't wait to get working on it again.

List making is so cathartic!  I'm ready to start finishing some of these.

All of the above projects are part of my Q1 UFO plan.  I'm linked up with

2016 FAL
